What would a 16 year old girl want for Valentines Day besides chocolate or roses?

I have a really good friend that said roses are nice, but they don’t last long. What can I get her that is in a good price range that will last and be very memorable?

go with the roses

girls love flowers and she’ll remember the gesture

get her a cd with some songs on it that you both like, or have memories of. She’ll always connect those songs to you, and she’ll never forget it.

Why not give her both at once?

They make hollow chocolates shaped like roses. =) Give her some of those, maybe?

Play to what she really, truly loves. If she loves horses, get her a small stuffed horse or posters, photographs, etc, etc.

Make her something like a jewelery box or a decorative box with bath soaps and beads in it.

Dude, every girl loves a beanie baby. A cute stuffed animal. Whether she’s a rocker type or not. Just get a beanie or stuffed animal in leather. Try and find a stuffed animal that best fits her personality. With skittles or something.

firstly, girls will ALWAYS say they dont want something, but that is like a test. we really do want them!! get her some flowers anyway to go along with something else. we love sappy things… for the most part. theres a teddy bear shop called build-a-bear where I live and you can pick out a teddy (or other animal) and stuff it and personalize it with a song or message. that is really popular. also, something personal would be much more appreciated, like photos or her/your favorite places, mix cds, etc. if you want to be really creative, you can place some homemade notes in random places that she will find throughout the day, like a locker or a desk – that has a special phrase ("wake up buttercup", and use a reeses pb cup) and so on. besides, these are all really inexpensive and alot of fun to do.
