Yummy Sweets Recipes for Valentines Day Gift Basket?

I need help on this gift for my boyfriend. He’s 17, & we’ve been dating for six months.
I want to make him a yummy sweets basket, but I need more ideas to put in it.
I’ve already got,
-oatmeal raisin cookies.
-twix brownies.
-chocolate covered strawberries.

And if you could give decorative ideas for it too, that’d be greatly appreciated. 🙂

What is his favorite candy? Make sure to include that. I would add a couple of nice roses to the basket and/or a favorite DVD he might enjoy. Sweets are great but including something that he would not expect will be a big hit. I would like the basket with some shinny red paper and buy pink and white flowers or roses. I love dark chocolate covered almonds as well as peanut M&M’s would he like those. What about a nice piece of cheesecake that you two could share.

The cookies, brownies and strawberries sound so delicious and are such a good array of different treats. I was thinking about suggestion a caramel brownie recipe and a peanut butter cup cookie recipe, but I think you’ve already got those areas covered. I was thinking about suggesting these lemon tart squares, http://frigidaire.stores.yahoo.net/ryan-boudreaux-lemon-tart-squares.html It’s a quick and easy recipe and I think would compliment your other tasty treats just perfectly. I think your boyfriend is going to adore you and your sweets that you put together for him! Happy Valentine’s Day! 🙂
