I need a chocolate recipe for Valentines Day?

I want to make a chocolate dessert in these small heart pans i bought. They are about 6 inches from top to bottom. I liked this recipe I’ve seen for something I think called "molten lava cake" ??!!?? No clue if thats the name or not, but when you cut into the small cake it oozes out with fudge. Any recipes like that would be great!

Try the recipe for Chocolate Eruption cake at the Dove brand website. Take a look at the picture and see if this is what you were looking for.

This is a fairly easy recipe and cooking time is just a maximum 9 minutes! Simply substitue your heart pans for the ramekins and adjust baking time accordingly (I’d recommend 7 minutes, turn, then bake 5 more). Make sure you don’t overcook as this will reduce the amount of oozing "lava." Yum!!!

Dove’s Dark chocolate is an excellent quality chocolate, too. I hope you enjoy this.

P.S.
A nice variation is to serve it with whipped cream and fresh strawberries or raspberries. Garnish with a sprig of mint 🙂

well here is the recipe for the molten lava cake. also the address below has other good valentines day recipes

    MOLTEN LAVA CAKES

    1/2 cup butter
4 ounces dark semi-sweet chocolate squares, or 1 cup Dutch cocoa powder, or 1/2 cup chocolate chips
    2 large eggs
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    3/4 cup Splenda
    3 Tablespoons flour

    Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Butter four small dessert ramekins or two larger ones with some butter.
In a microwave melt 1/2 cup butter, then stir in the chocolate of your choice and set it aside to cool. In another bowl mix the two eggs with the 3/4 cup Splenda and 3 Tbsp. flour with a whisk, then whisk in the cooled butter and chocolate mixture. Add 1 Tbsp. vanilla. Divide the mixture between your buttered ramekins. Bake for 10 to 20 minutes, as some ovens are hotter than others; the tops should be cooked and cracked and the chocolate should be gooey underneath. If you cook these too long they will become brownies. Carefully place each hot ramekin on a dessert plate and serve immediately with a spoon. Be sure to warn your guests that these desserts will be very hot. You can garnish these with caramel sauce or whipped cream if you like.

Molten lava cake is a cooked souffle type dessert that hasn’t been completely cooked through. That way the centre stays moist while the outer shell hardens.

Here’s one for double chocolate brownie cakes (if you undercook slightly, you will get your "lava")
    7oz unsalted butter
    1/2 lb chopped white chocolate
    1/2 lb chopped dark chocolate
    4 eggs
    1 cup sugar
    2 cups cake flour
vanilla extract and salt to taste (I prefer more than less vanilla and just a touch of salt)

Melt the butter with half of the white chocolate, and stir until homogenous. In a mixer whisk eggs for about 30 seconds, add the sugar and continue to whisk for another 2 minutes. Add the chocolate and butter mixture and then fold in the remaining ingredients. Fill your mold and bake at 325 for approximately 15 minutes. (make sure your oven is preheated and 15 minutes should give you your Lava effect)

this one is simple for me since I did this for Thanksgiving dinner for 12.

Betty Crocker Complete Dessets, Get the Hot Fudge Cake. The recipe you want is on the side of the box. Use Muffin tins… bake, maybe add a caramel drizzle on top and/or powdered Sugar dusting.. and Viola! you are done..

But set it up so you can Serve Immediately… after they cool down completely they still make yumminess but just aren’t quite as Snappy…

I am not all that fond of chocolate but I have a recipe for my chocoholic friends. I’ve never ate this but the pan usually ends up empty and fingerwiped clean so I guess its good, lol.

    Double chocolate brownies

    3/4 cup butter, melted
    1 1/4 cup sugar
    1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
    3 eggs

    3/4 cup flour
    1/2 cup cocoa
    1/2 teaspoon baking soda
    1/2 teaspoon salt

1 cup chocolate chips(I sometimes add more)

Preheat oven to 350*F and grease 8x8x2 pan.
Mix 1st 3 ingredients. Add eggs and beat well with spoon.
Mix next 4 ingredients and stir into egg mixture until blended. Stir in chocolate chips.
Pour into greased pan and bake for 40-45 minutes.
