    Stuffed french toast
    http://www.flickr.com/photos/beccab/432506519/
    8 oz. regular cream cheese
    1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring
    1/2 cup walnuts
1 loaf of french bread, sliced thick 1 1/2′
    4 eggs
    1/2 cup whipping cream
    1/2 teaspoon vanilla
    1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 1/2 cups strawberries fresh (soaked in sugar) or preserves
    1/2 cup orange juice
    Powdered sugar
    Whipped cream
Prepare the filling. Beat the cream cheese and vanilla on medium speed until blended. Stir in the walnuts and set aside.
Step2Set the brioche bread slices on a paper towel or tray, and spread 2 tablespoons of filling on each side. Top each one with a slice of plain brioche to make a sandwich.
Step3Create the batter. Beat the eggs, whipping cream, vanilla, and cinnamon together to make the batter mixture.
Step4Prepare a small frying pan or griddle with oil, and set on high heat for cooking.
Step5Dip each sandwich into the egg mixture to cover completely. Cook on griddle or frying pan until lightly browned on both sides.
Step6Transfer to a baking sheet. After each sandwich turns a light brown color, transfer to a baking sheet and store in a warm oven until all sandwiches are complete.
Step7In a small saucepan, heat the preserves and orange juice to make a sauce.
Step8Prepare to serve the French toast. Place two sandwiches on a plate and cover with the sauce. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and finish with a side of whipped cream.
