Valentine gift ideas for the boyfriend?

My boyfriend has a sweet tooth and he really loves it when I buy him goodies like cupcakes, fudge brownies, and other stuff like that. This time, I want to make the goodies for him to make it more special, but the thing is, I don’t have an oven. Are there any good recipes out there that don’t require you to bake them in the oven? Something apt for the valentine’s season?

you could go to a novelty shop and get Valentine molds and make shaped Jello desserts or shaped chocolates…get some of that almond bark melt it according to the package directions and pour it in the molds You can also bake some No-Bake Cookies (shape them into hearts) and serve them on a Valentine themed tray 😉
No Bake Cookies
* 2 cups white sugar
* 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
* 1/2 cup milk
* 1/2 cup margarine
* 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
* 1 pinch salt
* 1/2 cup chunky peanut butter
* 3 cups quick cooking oats
1. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the sugar, cocoa, milk and margarine. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Boil for 1 minute, then remove from heat and stir in the vanilla, salt, peanut butter and oats.
2. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto waxed paper. Allow cookies to cool for at least 1 hour. Store in an airtight container.

    A lot of sweets contain eggs and that’s the glue to keep sweets like cookies and brownies together, so u need an oven. Just ask a friend can u use their oven.

    Actually you can make good fudge with just a microwave. I’m sure there’s a recipe on the web somewhere. Barring that, Strawberry Shortcake is always good, romantic, and requires no baking.

    There are some cupcake recipes that require only steaming.

    same problem. this is what i did,
    First buy a cute mug (: – it can be a valentines themed mug, even football, or something hes into.
    then make this.

    CAKE IN A MUG:

    Ingredients
    4 tablespoons flour
    2 tablespoons sugar
    1 tablespoons cocoa
    1 egg
    3 tablespoons milk
    3 tablespoons melted butter
    1/4 teaspoon vanilla essence
    1 tablespoon choc chips (optional)
    1 large mug

    Method
    1. Add dry ingredients to the mug, and mix well.
    2. Crack an egg and add it to your mug. Be sure to mix it well to avoid any pockets of flour in the corners. Pour in the milk and melted butter and mix well. Add the vanilla essence.
    3. Pop your mug into the microwave & zap for 3 minutes on maximum power. Wait until the cake stops rising, and sets in the mug.
    4. If necessary, run a knife around the sides of the mug, and tip the still warm cake out of the mug and onto a saucer.

    Hey……why don’t you buy a ready made cake (Supermarket) and decorate it yourself…..
    You can get goodies to put on top and arrange them in a Heart Shape and using an Icing Pen (supermarket) you can put a personal message on it…..Voila !!

    Good Luck 😉

    2 1/2 Tablespoons dry Hershey’s Cocoa
    2 Tablespoons of butter or margarine
    1/3 coup white Karo Syrup (corn syrup)
    1/2 cup condensed milk
    1 cup walnuts (shelled and chopped)
    1 teaspoon Vanilla

    Combine all ingredients except nuts and vanilla. Stir together well. Bring to a vigorous boil and boil for 5 minutes.

    Remove from flame. Allow to cool for 10 minutes. Beat vigorously to make it creamy. Add walnuts and vanilla. Stir and pout out onto waxed paper lined square pan.

    NOTE: Do not attempt to make cooked candies when the weather is rainy, very cloudy or wet fog.

    I came across this and thought it was a pretty awesome gift idea–you write a love letter to your valentine in English and it’s translated into French to make it sound romantic.
