Valentine gift ideas for a soldier.?

My fiance is deploying to Iraq in March, and I would like to make this Valentines special. Any sentimental gift ideas he could take with him to Iraq?

I suggest that you give him a "Glass Lovebirds/crystal Heart"

You could also put this item nicely in a small gift box accompanied with a picture of you and him together, cut into a heart shape.

On the back of the picture, you can write your favourite poem or a small note of how much you love and miss him.

This sure will be the most important treasure he could take with him to Iraq and remember you by in those lonely and dangerous situations.

i would mail him a picture of you and him during a happy time together. This would remind him of your happy times together and this would remind him that his fiance cares about him

I made my husband a scrapbook for Christmas. He has it in Iraq with him right now. I basically made it like a story…from when we met to the present time. But as far as Valentine’s gifts…I dunno, that’s a tough one. I will have to check back at people’s answers because I need some ideas!

Something that reminds him of the special times you have shared together and will share once he comes home. What you give him is up to you, but make it as personal as possible.

Anything breakable is a bad Idea. I’m in Iraq right now and the trip from the states to here is quiet the hassle and it would’ve sucked to have to worry about carrying breakables. Pictures make the time go by fast and puts the mind back at home. Small photo album is perfect. That’s what my girl gave me before i left and it is great.

What do you think?
