the only thing i could think of using would be cereal boxes. you could cover them in construction paper, lace, hearts, glitter, ribbon anything you can think of to spice it up. and you could buy some of that colored foam stuff and make wheels and attach them with string or ribbon. just play with it, i think it could be really cute! yes its a cute and different ida, i’ve never seen anything like it and i have 4 kids! good luck!

that sounds like a really cute idea! i would start out with your generic shoebox, and then cover it with valentines-day-themed wrapping paper or even just red/pink construction paper. then, from there, (after cutting a hole in the top to slip the cards in), you can just decorate it to look like a train. ie, add wheels, etc. for a "smokestack", you can just put a smaller box on top of the box @ the front, to make it look like the engine. you could even put cotton balls coming out of it to make it look like smoke! i love this idea!
you could put "windows" in the side, and have passengers in each window. Or you could have multiple "cars" and each could have a different theme (ie, passengers, cargo, etc.) Oh, and don’t forget all the different materials you can use: ribbons, lace, glitter, dollies, felt, sequins, rhinestones, etc.
