Fun Valentines Day Recipes?

Add your fun, Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Dessert, Snack, and Drink Recipes!!! =)
I love to cook and I wanted to know good recipes.

This is the recipe for overnight french toast. This serves 10 and is made in a 13 x 9.but, I have halved or third it and made it a smaller pan.
5 eggs
2 tbsp corn syrup
1 cup brown sugar5 tbsp butter
1 1/2 cups milk1 tsp vanilla extract
1 loaf french bread
In sauce pan heat corn syrup, sugar and butter until bubbly. In bowl mix eggs, milk and vanilla. Spray a 13 x 9 pan with spray release.Pour sugar mixture into bottom of pan.Lay the sliced french bread together tightly over the sugar mixture.Pour egg and milk mixture over bread. Cover with foil and refrigerate overnight. In a.m. bake at 350 for 45 minutes. Flip prior to serving. Serve plain or with topping or whipped cream on the side.
1/4 cup sour cream
2 ounces cream cheese
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
CHOCOLATE BROWNIE TRIFLE RECIPE—This dessert is to die for—looks incredible before serving—tastes out of this world!! Main ingredients are brownies, choc pudding, whipped cream and Heath Bars or Skor bars chopped up. (also Oreo cookies if you dont like the Candy bars)Here are some great pictures and the recipe:

I do not use the sweetened condensed milk—dont find it necessary.
I have also heard it called DEATH BY CHOCOLATE. If you want to make it extra special—after you make the brownies poke holes in them and pour on a liqueur like amaretto or kahlua. WOW!!!
Fruit pizza—It is a pretty dessert. MAde w a shortbread crust, frosted w sweetened cream cheese and layered w beautiful fruits. It is easy and looks very impressive. There are some good pictures on allrecipes.com for fruit pizzas. Here is the recipe I like the best because it uses shortbread crust instead of sugar cookie crust.
Snack: Zebra Carmel Corn
MAke Carmel Corn—then drizzle white chocolate and milk chocolate lightly over it. Use the candy melts found in craft stores. You may even find pink or red candy melts. It is so good!!!! Then wrap it in baggies and tie red curling ribbon on it. (Popcorn in inexpensive and turning it into carmel corn is pretty easy–lots of recipes on the net)

My boyfriend bought me a BEAUTIFUL bouquet of roses for valentines day….?

and Im going to be sad when they die. I would really like to preserve them somehow but I dont want to squish them, just dry them out. I also dont want the petals to fall off. I heard that if you spray hairspray on them it will help, but I dont want to mess them up. Anyone have any suggestions?

Silica Gel
Silica gel can be found in most garden centers, nurseries, florist, or hobby shops. It absorbs moisture from flowers rapidly, thus preserving flower color better than other drying methods. Most flowers will dry in 36 to 48 hours.
This link will give you several methods but I think the silica gel will work best.
PS I think it’s reusable.
It’s that little bag that comes in the bottom of packed items such medicines over the counter etc.
It’s a moisture absorbing agent.

valentine gift ideas 4 boyfriend and family?

i need some ideas to get my boyfriend and his family. he lives in a different state.

give him your love,or a card and some chocolates

where to take my boyfriend on valentines day, also need gift ideas?

My boyfriend is amazing and treats me like a princess so i want to do something special for him on valentines day. any ideas? he is 25 and im 23 and we live in dallas, tx.

it’s cute you’re planning well in advance for your man. but did it ever occur to you that he is probably going to want to do something for you on valentine’s day? as far as plans are concerned, i’ve learned that, when it comes to romance … it’s always best to simply play it by ear & go with the flow. trying to set a "scene" can get so frustrating (because we all know things NEVER go according to plan). but if you simply enjoy his company, regardless of where you two are, or what you’re doing … it’s always far more memorable. if a crazy idea comes to mind, then say screw it & go for it. as for the gift (something that would go along with the holiday) … in all honesty, he’s not really going to care. in truth, "play" with him buy wearing something for him to "unwrap." just saying ^_^ …………

GUYS!! How would you feel if your girlfriend bought you 12 red roses for Valentines day?

I’m thinking of buying this for my boyfriend. He’ll probably like it, although may see it as a bit of a silly joke 😛
How would you feel?

Well… I wouldn’t be upset or mad. I would just be kind of confused lol. However, I am not the type of guy who is into flowers XD. It’s your guess though, you know him better I do :P.

Chicken Cacciatore

This is one of the best chicken cacciatore recipes I’ve ever tried. Goes great with garlic bread, rigatoni pasta and a nice red full bodied wine. Enjoy!

1¾ hours 30 min prep
Change to: servings US Metric
1/2 cup olive oil
1 whole chicken (cut up,rinced and patted dry)
1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
1/2 lb green olives
1/4 cup capers
1 large onion (chopped)
1 green pepper (chopped)
1 cup celery (chopped)
1 cup sliced mushrooms
1 (28 ounce) can pasta sauce (your favorite)
1/2 cup vinegar
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
salt & pepper
1 lb rigatoni pasta

1.In a medium size pot, brown the chicken in the olive oil until browned on all sides.

2.Add the remaining ingredients except for the capers and simmer for about 1 hour.

3.Add the capers and cook slowly for an additional 10 minutes.

4.Serve over prepared pasta.
